Towns for Tomorrow
Funding to Upgrade Valemount Water Main

The Province is investing $400,000 toward the upgrade of Valemount’s Cedar Street Waterline Trunkmain, helping to ensure clean, reliable water for residents and making Valemount a better place to live and work.

The project will result in the installation of 370 metres of water main from the north end of Cedar Street south to 5th Avenue, increasing capacity, reliability of service, and improving the flow of water allocated for fire protection.

Community Development Minister Blair Lekstrom and Prince George-Mount Robson MLA Shirley Bond made the announcement July 23, 2008.
