Tumbler Ridge Receives Grant to Improve Community Centre Access

The District of Tumbler Ridge will receive $291,600 for the Community Centre from the provincial government’s Towns for Tomorrow program.

The funding will be used to install an elevator in the community centre, which will improve access to the facility and reduce inconvenience to the patrons.

The announcement was made Aug. 20 by Peace River South MLA Blair Lekstrom during a visit to the community.
